I’m happy to announce that my piece “Speech 1” has been selected in the 3rd international conference Understanding Visual Music-UVM 2015, to be held in Brasilia on June 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Understanding Visual Music-UVM 2015 Symposium focuses on research-creation processes and multiple relations between art, science and new technologies that are key factors in obtaining creative results, when working with a universe composed of moving images and organised sound.

Thus, 2D and 3D animation, electroacoustic music, image processing, sound design and the digital arts in general, can be intertwined with the most diverse techniques and technologies, and even with unexpected areas of science, in generating the complex blending supporting the so-called “visual music”.

The UVM 2015 international conference, held by the Computer Art Research Laboratory (Medialab) of the University of Brasilia (Brazil) in association with the Electronic Arts Research and Experimentation Centre (CEIArtE) of the National University of Tres de Febrero (Argentina) and Concordia University (Canada), is an academic forum devoted to a branch of study known as visual music.
